Business process management server v4.3 launches, touts mapping, WebDAV

BPM specialist Adeptia has just launched a new version of its BPM Server v4.3. The new version of the BPM server comes packed with enhanced business process management and integration functionalities.

Adeptia said the new version of BPM server is expected to provide a more unique and a greater user experience, with enhanced GUI (graphical user interface) and new functionalities.

BPM Server combines business process management with enterprise application integration within and across an organisation. The company said the product has an enhanced Web-based, wizard-driven interface that enables graphical representation of highly complex process flows and easy specification of data integration rules without writing any code.

Key features introduced in the new version include Web DAV support - Web-based Distributed Authoring and Versioning. It is a set of extensions to the HTTP protocol which enables users to collaboratively edit and manage files on remote web servers.

According to Adeptia, this is well integrated with BPM Server process flow to create a document management workflow solution along with BMP Server Human interaction service.

Version 4.3 now boasts new Load Management. Queue support to handle large volume of Process flow Execution: Adeptia BPM server uses proven Queue mechanism for Load management, which make system robust and predictable when large volume of Process flow execution request comes to the system.

Queue recovery on system failure: All Queue jobs are persisted so any system failure will not cause loss of request, which makes system highly reliable.

Multiple Source Schema and Multiple Target Schema. This enables a mapping multiple source schemas to multiple target schemas in a same view. Apparently, this makes Mapping quite powerful and flexible. User can generate multiple output data from single source data and vise-versa.
